What Types of Balloons Can I Print On?

You Can Choose Between Latex and Foil Balloons.

Latex Balloons are by far the most cost effective option and have a huge range of colours and sizes to choose from.

Foil Balloons are more expensive but can be more striking in their appearance. There are less colours to choose from but 3 different shapes available (circles, stars and hearts).

What Size of Balloon Can I Print On?

Latex:

We have 10", 11" and 12" latex balloons. The size of balloon you choose will effect the size of the printable area of the balloon and therefore the size of your logo/artwork/text. Reducing the size of the balloon will reduce the cost of the job and if you are filling with helium, dramatically reduce the price of your gas.

Can I Print On Both Sides of The Balloon?

Yes you can, but there are restriction depending on if you are printing on latex or foil Balloons.

Latex:

  • Printing on one side is the most common and cost effective option and gives the most amount of flexibility in terms of size of balloon and number of ink colours in the design.
  • Printing on two sides is a more complex and expensive process that decreases the balloon size options (10" and 12" balloons) and limits you to one ink colour per side (maximum of 2 colours in total)
  • You can have the same design on both sides or a different design on either side. You are a allowed a maximum of 2 colours in total, so either one colour on both sides or two colours in total (one for each side).

Foil:

  • Choosing to print on 1 side of the balloon is the most cost effective option and allows you to have multiple colours in your artwork.
  • Choosing to print on 2 sides of the balloon restricts you to 1 colour per side.

How Many Colours Can I have In My Design?

Usually, the maximum is 8 for latex balloons and 3 for foil balloons.

Latex:

Your artwork and or text can contain up to 8 colours in total. The price of your balloons will increase as you increase the number of colours that you have in your artwork. So if you're on a budget, you'll be better of with a simple design.

Foil:

Your artwork and or text can contain up to 3 colours in total. The price of your balloons will increase as you increase the number of colours that you have in your artwork. If you would like more than 3 colours then please call us or send an online quote request here
